about our veterinary practice Forest City, NC
Foothills Animal Clinic provides preventative and diagnostic medicine from newborn to geriatrics. As a general practice, all doctors are trained in dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and preventative medicine. For extraordinary situations, we may refer our patients to a specialist at Upstate Veterinary Specialists, located in Greenville, South Carolina.

Diagnostics performed daily in the hospital include radiology, cytology, heartworm tests, stool checks, feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (Feline AIDS) testing, urinalysis, in-house blood chemistries, complete blood counts and electrolytes, as well as special tests such as thyroid and ACTH stimulation tests.

For more unusual tests and combined panels, the practice may use an outside laboratory with most results returning within 24-72 hours.

Our Mission
Our utmost concern here at Foothills Animal Clinic is the care and well-being of our patients (your loved ones), while at the same time providing our staff a safe and happy workplace, and you, our clients, the highest quality and most efficient service possible.

Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition, exercise, and preventative care. Foothills Animal Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
